Receptive & Expressive Language Delays:
Limited vocabulary or words, difficulty following directions, difficulty formulating phrases or sentences, or challenges with grammatical structures.
Articulation & Phonological Delays & Disorders:
Hard to understand speech, challenges with pronouncing certain sounds, distorted sounds, omitting sounds, and/or adding sounds in words.
Childhood Apraxia of speech & motor Speech Disorders:
When children have difficulty with coordinating, shaping, or executing speech sounds, they struggle with getting their messages across and have limited to no speech productions.
Provide Let's Blossom with any previous evaluations and/or progress reports.
Schedule an Evaluation, if your child has not had an evaluation in the last 3 years or would like a second opinion.
Current speech and language strengths and weaknesses based on same-age peers, descriptive analysis of skills, recommendations for treatment/home activities, and goals for ongoing treatment.
Consultations are 40-minute direct clinical observation, interactive session, and parent interview with a speech therapist, where further evaluation can be determined.
1:1 treatment with a speech therapist is 50 minutes in-clinic, and 45 minutes in-home.
Your therapist will treat 3 consecutive sessions as building rapport and collecting data for goals. After 3 sessions, your therapist will have speech and language goals tailored to your child's needs
Yes! We encourage our families to use our resources and tools at home to generalize speech and language skills. Your therapist will gladly provide you with home activities based on your child's goals.
Yes; however, it depends on our current availability and the location of the service.
